When it was puppyfind.com it was great but since the changing to puppies.com it appears it has been bought out by a Rescue organization that is against breeders and want to push rescue. They even have a page stating they are 501c and asking for donations.

it was in big letters at top of page but now its at bottom of site link Adoption. This new site so far does not seem to want to see breeders sell pups but make them go out of business. They also ask for drivers license and social security numbers when the site first started operating under the new puppies.com. BEWARE they may even be set up to steal personal info who knows where they are operation actually really is located.

Could be India or China.

They have made it impossible to list or advertise on site. Once you pay monthly rate your ads never show up in search.

I paid for a puppy for $700 from pets usa in San Diego CA. They said that the $700 include shipping.

Then all of a sudden they needed $650 more for shipping said I would give me all back. I sent them them the money. Well I supposedly gave united air global the money, but nothing was done. Paypal declined my claim.

They gave me 4 different emails to send. The man told me to *** " in a text message. Now the vendor said he would return my $700 but never has. He threatened my life saying that I would die and sent me a voodoo vedio.

Never heard from him since. Paypal won't help me.

I have every message of conversation between both of us. I am out $1350.00 and nobody wants to help me with this transaction.

I was double charged between the transition of puppyfind.com becoming puppies.com. Looked through numerous emails and throughout the website for any support and only found this page by google. Would recommend a better setup for the website, especially the new one.

Totally failing their customers. This change is not a positive one and obviously put together by someone who is not a breeder and or buyer. Such a change had to be expensive and now it will more than likely cost them their site.

Willo Qkl

Change is hard, especially with a whole new website to navigate. Please visit the Learning Center on the site for helpful tips.

Hopefully once the learning curve is over you will enjoy the new upgrades we have made.

Scammers always attack full force when a new website is launched. There is no way to keep anyone from contacting you when your phone number is visible to everyone on your account.

Hopefully that will slow down soon. It always takes a couple of weeks to work out the bugs on a new site.

Hopefully in the end you will enjoy the new updates. Puppies.com Support

Requesting a selection for a new breed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Hello Please I am requesting a selection for a new breed. AUSTRALIAN MOUNTAIN DOGS They are a cross between the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Australian shepherd. They are great Family/Farm dogs. Not as big as the Bernese and more mellow as the Australian shepherd. Smart, sweet and easy to train. They come in Blue Merle and Tri color. They should mature between 50+ and 75+ lbs. These dogs don't have a mean bone in their body. Please consider making them a part under the Select a Breed category. So many other crosses are allowed to have their space. Thank you for considering. Happy New Year 2022

Company removes bad reviews

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We recently wrote a bad review on this site on a breeder, Jill Crouch. About the fact, we have bought 2 huskies from her.

The first is three years old and has had cataracts issues before she turned one, and now she has skin issues with hair loss. Now our youngest is not even one yet and has been into vet more than the oldest one's whole life because of UTIs three of them to be exact, and the first one was pretty bad. And the breeder, buyers beware, is so high every time we went there.

The basement is where she keeps the litters with the moms in kennels, filthy is an understatement the litters lay in their own wastes. With all that said puppyfind.com removed our review said we need all this documentation to keep it up and now we know why no one has any bad reviews this site only cares about the breeders not the actual consumers.

The PuppyFind site did offer sellers the option to dispute reviews and require the buyer to provide supporting documentation for their statements, but the new Puppies website allows the seller to respond to the review posted instead. Hope you enjoy the updated site. Puppies.com Support

This lady sounds terrible, yet not only did you buy one dog from her, but then bought a second. I could tell you that anyone selling a quality dog that they put a lot of effort into would not sell it for 800 bucks, but you already found that out.

I suspect you purchased these dogs because they were cheap and you thought you were getting a deal.

You got what you paid for, and frankly instead of a bad review, if what your saying is true, you should have reported these conditions to animal control. Buying those dogs only contributed to continued animal abuse and neglect, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

The company removes negative reviews no matter how much documentation you send

PuppyFind - The company removes negative reviews no matter how much documentation you send

As the header states. I bought from a breeder, Sara Hulshof, on the site who sold me a dog that nearly died within the first week from coccidia and hookworms and needed several blood transfusions and an extended stay in the hospital.

The breeder denied any responsibility when I spoke to them, so I left a review on puppyfind to let others know about my experience. It was disputed and taken down by the breeder and puppyfind requested documentation of my claims. Fair enough, I sent what they asked for. Then they asked for more, so I sent that as well.

This was back in early December of 2020.

It is now may 2021 and they are still looking for new angles to take my review down, even stating it is my final chance to leave a review for the breeder. If you find a breeder on puppyfind, make sure you have multiple sources to check for the truth about them.

Cons:
  • Do not protect consumer
  • Will not help you when you have a problem
  • Will remove negative reviews

Preferred solution: Leave my review for the breeder up, I have provided documentation every time you've asked.

User's recommendation: Look elsewhere, but if you choose to use this site. Check out the breeder on other sites, as this site will remove negative reviews.

Scammed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Reported being scammed and they didn't take down ads by the seller, offer me any help on getting my money back or concern over the matter. From what I've read, they let scamming go on just to make a profit on selling ad space to anyone. Just be very careful on who you deal with on this site and do NOT put a deposit on an animal. Meet with the breeder by FaceTime first, then meet them, then exchange money. it's a shame people are ripping people off selling puppies. Despicable!
